Alexander Laing: Violinist

The Darwin Ensemble Chamber Orchestra will perform their debut concert on 31 January 2008 at 7.30pm in Lichfield Cathedral.

On Saturday, April 5, in the intimate setting of the Lichfield Garrick Studio, the audience was treated to an evening of spectacular classical music by violinist Alex Laing and Adam Caird on the piano, as part of the theatre’s new Classical Concert Series.

The date for the Alex's performance of the Bruch Concerto has been confirmed. It will be on 25th October 2008 at 2.30pm in Pershore Abbey. The Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Neil Aston, will accompany him.

Following a successful concert together in Wolverhampton, Alex Laing teams up with Adam Caird to perform in the Lichfield Garrick Theatre Studio on April 5th at 7.30pm.

The programme is Beethoven's Spring Sonata as well as the sonatas by Ravel and Franck.
